The City of Spring Valley, IL is seeking sealed proposals from qualified Consulting Firms for the completion of a Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to update Spring Valley’s comprehensive plan adopted in November 1970, incorporating the 2003 Park Board Plan, the Community Revitalization Plan adopted March 2, 2007 and the Downtown Plan completed in 2012, along with developing a corresponding Capital Improvement Plan. The objectives for the project are as follows:

  • Identify and expand on vision, outcomes and implementation strategies.
  • Build on previous planning work.
  • Engage residents in the planning process.
  • Seek innovative ideas and new opportunities.

The City desires a public outreach strategy to begin in the spring of 2019 and for a final plan to be presented to the City Council by Fall of 2019, with specific completion dates to be agreed upon. More information is available as part of the RFP document.

The City of Indianola, Iowa, with a 2010 census population of 14,872, is soliciting proposals for a review and update of its 2011 Comprehensive Master Plan.

The City is looking for a Consultant to work with the Community to review and update the 2011 Comprehensive Master Plan (may be found on the City’s website at http://www.indianolaiowa.gov/376/Comprehensive-Plan).
